How We Evaluate and Treat ADHD

ADHD affects attention, organization, impulse control, and sometimes activity level. Symptoms begin in childhood, but many people aren’t diagnosed until adolescence or adulthood, when school, work, and family demands increase. Based in College Station, Ruhwell Med sees patients across Texas by video.

Every ADHD evaluation starts with a detailed history from the settings that matter most: home, school, work, and relationships.

We also screen for conditions that can mimic or worsen attention problems, including anxiety, depression, sleep disorders, learning disorders, substance use, trauma-related symptoms, medication effects, and relevant medical conditions, so your plan fits what’s actually going on.
